I had an amazing conversation with Anna from Fitting Tribute Funerals, and this memory came up as I was searching to explain my “why” for a cemetery. I’ve had fun, deeply connective experiences visiting ancestral graves during trip to Korea, including this time nearly 2 decades ago when hiking backwards was all the rage (check out the Gangnam Style music video). My aunt tried to teach me the technique while hiking up a mountain to visit a grave (with dubious success), and I got all the culture in one day!
