Last but definitely not least was Bluestem Cemetery near Durham, NC! Iconic natural burial leaders and land trust experts Heidi and Jeff, along with Jeff’s trusty sidekick Walter, showed us around this incredibly serene, and thoughtfully designed space. I can’t give more accolades to this team for the intentionality, expertise, and execution of their vision. They were so practical about the details, but also flew at the highly strategic level to discuss concepts like culture and the designed experience. A true inspiration!!
